1. In order to avoid being the victim of bootlegging, unauthorized duplication, or piracy, Brenda Hillman Art will not issue refunds if the product shows no sign of being defective through manufacture or shipping, or if the product shows no signs of deliberate vandalism or if a customer simply says they "don't like the product." Therefore, Brenda Hillman Art encourages all potential customers to be certain the artistic impression or product they have chosen is visually appealing to them prior to making a purchase. An authorized representative of Brenda Hillman Art will be responsible for approving any discrepancies regarding issuance of a credit. Any issuance of a credit, exchange or refund will be provided only with the expressed permission of such Brenda Hillman Art representative. Customers are assured that said permission to issue a credit,exchange or refund will not be unreasonably withheld.
2. Any customer dissatisfied with our products should contact our corporate offices at brendahillmanart@aol.com and explain the reason for such dissatisfaction or to our customer service group at octagonmgmt@aol.com. Any credit, exchange or refund will be granted under the following conditions:
a. Damage due to shipping -- If shipping caused any damage to any product, the customer must return the items in the original packaging with notification from the post office that said package was delivered in a damaged condition.
b. Damage due to manufacturing -- If a customer believes any product was poorly manufactured, Brenda Hillman Art will replace that item with the same title and/or item. It would require that the customer return the dissatisfied item in its original packaging along with a letter of explanation as to why they believe the item is defective.
c. No cash refunds will be made -- Any refunds will be issued by check and only if the original method of payment was by check. NO cash or check refund will be issued if the original purchase was made within a 14 business day period. This will allow for the original funds issued to Brenda Hillman Art to clear. If payment was by credit card, and the company is issuing a refund, that refund will be in the form of a credit on the original purchaser's credit card and not to a third party, and made after receipt of the merchandise. For example, if the item(s) purchased were a gift to another person, the refund, exchange or credit will be granted to the purchaser and not the recipient of the item.
